BUGS LIFE IS COMMUNIST PROPAGANDA

This coming Sunday the 1st of May. Celebrate rising spring and the end of the cold long winter we call capitalism, Sunday is International Workers Day. Chances are, if you are reading this, you probably work for someone else and do not own the means of production. If that is the case then this day is for you and maybe you should call in sick and rebel against your bosses. Come and join your fellow workers and working class families. Organized we are strong, Educated we are powerful, and when we plan we are victorious. Before you make any excuses, do not forget the time you saw Bug's Life and started nodding your head because you knew that was some real shit.

Build The Revolution With Care Today

.Our revolutionary activities should be more than breaking and fighting capitalism and imperialism. We must also create and build the system that will replace it. Just as workers would dig through mountains, ford rivers, and bridge ravines there must be the builders laying down the tracks and infrastructure to carry us forward. There are many deeds that need to be done and many idle ones that need task that suits them.

How can we have a revolution if we do not care for our fellow workers and poor? Everyone is has something they can contribute but we must look after each other's needs so that we can all do the work. Our fellow workers that are hesitant to to join the struggle need to know that they will not be abandoned. We need to secure a roof and a meal for everyone. We must organize and plan and prepare to help our comrades when they are ill or incarcerated. We the working poor do not have much but we can always make it work in this state of emergency.

When our comrades are homeless, a problem that is becoming more and more common with gentrification and foreclosures, we should be working not just on helping them get accommodated but have a plan to prevent the problem. Working with the tent cities and defending them from sweeps by any legal means, or boycotting landlords and property management companies. These are just ideas, if you think about housing and that is the kind of work you want to do then go for it. Join an organization or start your own. Reach to people. Your comrades are everywhere.

There are times our comrades do not have food. Even if you can not go to them. If you have the resources and it will not leave you hungry then order them a pizza. There are more and more delivery services, throw some work some one's way and feed a comrade. Is it a solution? Certainly not, that too will require organizing but it can be a start. Not acting can end up being your worst mistake.

Often those we know need medical help. Few of us our doctors but maybe we know of a free or cheap clinic, maybe we can make soup or help with chores. There are little things we can do for the physical and psychological care of our beloved comrades. As long as we act with their consent we can have a positive impact.

When our organizations get big, it may be time to redistribute responsibility and have the group split up. Capitalism does not accommodate organizing so we must be able to accommodate for those that wish to do the work but have a conflicting schedule. This division will actually make a stronger force and help those workers that have long commutes or children to care for. Also maybe consider letting children be present for organizing. The children watch us and emulate us, would we not want them to emulate the work we do? Are we not fighting for their future?

This struggle is stressful and tiresome. We have moments that we want to cry, but fear it will make us look weak. I can tell you right now from first hand experience that someone staring you down but also crying is unsettling. It sure saved my life a few times. Go ahead and cry. That whole notion of tear equating weakness is patriarchal garbage. Cry all you need to, it is good for the eyes. Now, if you need time and need to take space to vent and there is a way to do it then do it. Do whatever you have to do to be able to get back in the fight effectively but do not worry about looking weak. When we organize we ought to plan on care for ourselves as well as each other. Sometimes that means taking a step back. Find another task or get some rest but know when to make a tactical advance to the rear. If we are all caring for each other now then there may be enough people to fill in the gaps. The other advantage of disengaging is the opportunity to take a look at the situation unattached and under less stress. One can be critical and find ways we can collectively adjust our tactics and strategies.

Part of contributing to the cause is knowing to ask for help yourself. Closed mouths do not get fed and not addressing your needs can be expensive down the road. If you need food or water ask for it. No one should have too little. How can we be revoluting against capitalism if we do not cooperate to provide for the needs of ourselves and our comrades?

Being able to take greater risk requires confidence that there will be some care available should one be in a predicament in service to comrades. There will be moments where a small few will have to take great risk to accomplish the goals of the revolution or to protect comrades. Those few will still require support from everyone else. When are comrades, for instance get arrested, they will need help in jail and if or when they are released. In jail a comrade may need moral support and material support for their family. When leaving the custody of capitalist imperialist authorities they may need to be examined by a medic or a doctor. They may need help readjusting and healing after being confinement. We have the working poor in prisons now that need support. They too struggle, they are also our cousins.

We can strike at the face of our enemy all we want or we can kill it at its roots. Take away its prophet and our need for capitalism. We can still have commerce but we can still have things needed to live. One of the greatest lies of capitalism is that few of us are capable to care and create for society. We are worth more than test scores and the prophets we generate. It is about time we started treating ourselves and each other that way. Even folks that are too scared to yet join us, we must be examples for them and share the power with them. Many are just confused and scared like many of us once were. Let us snuff out elitist attitudes and dare to care. Sin amor no hay revolución. Do not give up the fight and do not give up on your cousins. Palante, Siempre Palante!

Dear People of Color, United We Are Strong and Capable

“If a white man wants to lynch me, that’s his problem. If he’s got the power to lynch me, that’s my problem. Racism is not a question of attitude; it’s a question of power.”

" Si un hombre blanco quiere linchar a mí, ese es su problema. Si él tiene el poder de lincharme, ese es mi problema . El racismo no es una cuestión de actitud ; es una cuestión de poder " .

-Stokely Carmichael

I will never forget when I first heard that quote. I was at a presentation called American Identity = White Supremacy. The presenter was Ahjamu Umi from All African People's Revolutionary Party (AAPRP). That presentation widened my view of my own story. It was also the first time I ever heard anyone in the US really speak up against Amerikkkan Imperialism. If I ever heard anything before about imperialism it was somehow tied in with white guilt. Even that day, I did not fully grasp the meaning of the quote. Then, it seemed as obvious as saying fire is hot.

Today that quote is what I need to hear when my focus wavers or if I am not sure what I need to be doing. Appealing to the European-Amerikkkan conscience is pointless. European does well is at spacing out and acting victimized when you call them out on problematic behavior. It is so prevalent in European culture that people of color that chose to assimilate have adopted the practice when they defend Europeans and their “white fuckery”. I applaud anyone that tries by any means to reach out to Europeans and guide them. Some of them are just confused and some of them just don't know better but are secure enough to take criticism. Those Europeans are rare and quickly punished by other Europeans for their alleged betrayal.

We may want to consider moving away from individual problems and to the problems of the society that permits Europeans to get away with problematic behavior. It is not enough to watch cops, they get off anyways. It is not enough to call out white dreads, they will walk on feeling justified. It is not enough to shut down a business that makes money off the suffering of colored people, someone gave them the loan. What are the forces that permit this to happen?Capitalism, Imperialism, Amerikkkan Exceptionalism.  Why do we hesitate to strike at these sources of power? Because not excepting the madness of the society we live in is considered madness and radical. I would like to leave the awake and conscious European accomplice to deal with “white fuckery”. We can supervise and guide that work but maybe let them take responsibility and do the work.

As Afrikans, Asians, Indigenous people, Pacifik Islanders and Australian Aboriginals, we need to not just bring down capitalism but make it obsolete. I do not mean create our own capitalist system, I mean sharing resources and gathering ourselves for self-protection. We are living in a 500-year-old state of emergency and it gets worst every day. We can not afford the things we need yet we struggle for luxury at the expense of our cousins. None of us should be going hungry or without a roof. None of us should have to choose between a check and our health. Our children should not so easily be taken away from us by the state to toil in prison labor camps or fight imperialist wars. No, we have the responsibility to free ourselves and keep ourselves safe. There is no superman to save us. If you think Hillary or Sanders or Trump or any of those clowns will save us then you are confused. Even with an Afrikan president this regime did not change its ways. Come out of the white fog and unite. Dare to care for each other. Individually we will are limited but together we are unstoppable. It is up to us to step up and act, to dare organize against our oppressors. Palante, Siempre Palante!

They Like to Hide Here Too:

Racism is not just a practice of poor white people. It is reinforced with greater conviction and causing greater harm from Amerikkkan liberals. Racism is not about being good or bad, educated or ignorant. It is a state of mind and part of a system of oppression. Slavery did not happen because of racism. Slavery happened because of capitalism, and racism was the practice used to justify the practice.

17.4.16

DO NOT BLOCK YOUR RACIST AUNT

Do not delete your cousins and your racist friends. People of color do not get to delete white supremacy from their life. If you love people or have higher expectations of people, then help them out. call them in and do the work. All the effort you would put into stopping them from doing self-harm and harm to others, use that.If you just toss them away the racist agents of capitalism will get to them. They will exploit and mold them because you disregarded them. Unless it becomes or is an abusive relationship there is not much use in not working out the toxicity from their system.

Feeling Burned: A brief criticism of Amerikkkan Presidential Elections

Bernie fans I encounter come off as very adamant about voting, but not listening. They will tell you the importance of having their voice heard in this election because Trump winning would be such a travesty.  The message I tend to receive form Bernie fans is,”I was never political before, but Bernie says things I like, he is going to help us take back this country. I need to vote so Trump does not win and my voice will be heard.” Then there is that part where they say, “I assume you support Sanders?”, then all hell breaks lose. Europeans especially seem to freak out internally when I tell them that I do not. This has happened so frequently I have learned it is best to not explain why unless they ask. I could be wrong or confused but no one has told me what  my error is. Here is a perspective for those that can not understand why a person of color from a colony would not support Bernie or any other candidate in the Amerikkkan elections. Keep in mind I do not represent or try to represent all people of color and survivors of colonialism.

1. Amerikkkan elections are rigged

It really seems pointless to vote in Presidential Elections in the United States of Amerikkka.  Although there are laws that protect voting rights of workers and the unemployed, some places do everything they can to make voting conflict with earning a miserable income. Take the catastrophe of Arizona for the 2016 primary. Voting stations were reduced from 200 to 60. Some voters had to wait for at least five hours. Was this an accident? Who would this affect most? Would voters dependent on public transportation be discouraged? Who would this hurt the most?

2. Not All Citizens Get to Vote

A significant number of citizens are denied the ability to participate in presidential elections every four years. There are 3.5million people in Puerto Rico will not have a choice in who leads the United States of Amerikkka. There are laws that forbid it and politicians that fight to keep it that way. Borikuas have have been exploited and repressed by Amerikkka since 1898. Police actions, weapons and medical testing on the population, political prisoners, embargos like the Jones Act, mass incarceration , mandatory military service and citizenship are the only privileges United States of Amerikkka has given Borikuas. The citizens of the Puerto Rico have served the United States Military and have provided cheap labor for corporations. They do not get a vote or a voice.Let us not forget the homeless population in the United States. I have the impression that they do not have an easy time getting registered depending where they are. The US seems to be famous for simply ignoring the homeless population unless it is to evict them or arrest them. Are the extreme poor and homeless ignored because they do not generate a significant income? Is it their lack of production that keeps them marginalized? Is there minimum tax bracket you must fit in to have a vote?

3. Hillary, Trump and Sanders are Imperialist

The two parties represent one system of racist and classist oppression. Both parties participate in invading countries, bombing cities, exploiting people of color and silencing critics of capitalism and imperialism. All three candidates support the drone program and bombing and occupying other countries. This is nothing new and as long as we depend on these figure heads no one will be free. Evan Sanders refuses to admit the US had any blame in the troubles of the colonies, specifically Puerto Rico but does blame corporations and hedge funds. His campaign team ignores the fact that the Jones Act is a shakedown and that Puerto Rico's government, unlike other states, is not permitted to claim bankruptcy. None of the candidates will even call Puerto Rico a colony or speak up on human right violations and political prisoners from the island. They are, very quick to criticize other nations but refuse to acknowledge US sponsorship of terrorism, genocide and exploitation of people overseas.

4. Voting validates an illegitimate regime

You keep hearing “ Make Amerikkka great again” and “Take back our country” but it always seems to be coming from European-Amerikkkans that seem to forget that they are on stolen land. 100 million indigenous people have been killed and are still being killed for this so called “great nation”. Afrikans made this regimes economy by being forced to work for rich white capitalist. Today, after the false abolition of slavery, Afrikans are imprisoned and forced into labor, kept sick so we can not generate capital, exploited for our culture and labor while also being dehumanised. So take this country back and make it great, but who benefits really? The system is not broken, it does what it was designed to do. Keep the lower classes divided through systematic racism and exploit the masses for their labor while keeping all the profits and controlling resources. Reform is not revolution, it is just the re-wording of policies to make sure they fit with popular culture. If we rely on electing another president, those of us who can, what do we actually change?

Maybe we need to stop depending on a system that has exploited the workers, the poor, the marginalized. Instead of trying to change the system, why not start organizing with each other and create some new systems? We live in a society that tells us we can all start a business and be successful but we fail to believe that we can create a new economic system. Why do we celebrate the entrepreneur but we do not support the radical organizers that put themselves on the line to fight for others? Why do we wait for an action to happen to mobilize instead of getting involved with organizing? Why are we expected to vote rather than revolt even though deep down inside we do not trust any of our candidates but are too scared of being critical or criticized?

Maybe make sure you are participating in a system that is fair serves not just to you but those different from you. Judge your society by how it treats those who are on the edge of it and have a quieter voice. Do not wait to be given rights and freedom, those things shared and worked for not distributed evenly by the elites. Again, this is just an opinion and I could be missing something.

SADTHONG COLONEL: APRIL FOOLS TRIGGER WARNING SPECIAL( Seriously, all these images are disturbing.)

The British, led by Winston Churchill, stole resources from India, while there was a famine. The brits fed already well-supplied soldiers and claimed the Bangladeshi people were nazis.
Just in time for this great holiday of April fools, my favorite of the frivolous holidays. It is a day that is taken so seriously by humanity that no one can seriously organize enough for capitalist to make money off of it. Sure they sell pranks novelties and post crank ads, but who feels compelled to go out and get that April fools turkey last minute then yell at the deli clerk for ruining the 32nd of March? Only suckers that fell for an elaborate prank. In celebration of this holiday and I would like to share some images I asked my white accomplice and artist, Jean-Marie Ricci. He lived in the US of Amerikkka for 14 years, having immigrated from France. Here he had a small taste of what people of color from other countries deal with every day. He has returned to France where he has spent much time reflecting about his experience and post some whimsical memes, that poke fun of Portland culture. Recently, as a gift to me and Portland he produced some images that shed some truth on what Sadthong Colonel is selling. I think of it as a graphic illustration for European-Amerikkkans to understand what they are glorifying.

This chap is reading the specials.

I am sure that Sally will one day build up so that Sadthong Colonel has this level of service.

This is all the places Sadthong Colonel aspires to expand to.

I hate Portland sometimes.

Hey people of color, and fellow survivors of colonialism and neo-colonialism. If any of this is problematic I will remove all this. If there is anything that can stay up let me know, but your thoughts are important.
